Characteristics

⦁ Provides all the information needed to obtain PMP® certifications.
⦁ Certifies the contact hours necessary to apply for the exam.
⦁ The student can access the platform for a period of 180 days.

The course covers the topics presented in the PMBOK® Guide, 6th edition, includes the latest updates made by PMI in January 2021 and all the necessary elements so that the participant can comfortably take the certification exam.
From the PMLA Online Educational Platform, all the material, dynamics, study cases, questions for each class and exam simulator are provided.
Advice and lessons learned are also provided for the application process, study, exam and maintenance of certifications.
Those who complete the required activities and attend all the virtual classes will obtain an electronic diploma accrediting 40 “contact hours” on project management issues. 35 are required to take the PMP® or CAPM® exam.

 

Value proposal

Know and understand the international standard for Project Management defined by the Project Management Institute PMI® in the Guide to the Fundamentals of Project Management, PMBOK® Guide (latest reference version for the current exam).
During the course you will have guidance from teachers in the use of the techniques and tools necessary to be certified as PMP® and CAPM® and you will master the standard language of the profession.
PMLA was audited in 2020 by PMI® International, to provide training in Project Management, obtaining a satisfactory result in relation to the quality and effectiveness standards that had been established by PMI®.
The course is taught by leading professionals from Uruguay, Costa Rica, Argentina, Peru and Paraguay. All are PMP® certified and have over ten years of project management experience.

Work methodology

The participant from the comfort of his home, will be able through a specific videoconferencing tool for such purposes, to participate in the classes where the teacher will present the course material, dynamics and interact with the students directly, in a similar way to a face-to-face course.

 

Materials included in the course

Students will have access to the PMLA Online Educational Platform (PMLA Learning Platform), where they will be able to obtain the materials that the teacher exposes in class, as well as the dynamics, case studies, class questions and the exam simulator.

 

Certification exam

The exam is guaranteed by PMI® international, the governing body of the certification.
During the course, information will be provided on the requirements and the process to obtain the PMP® or CAPM® certification. This information is also available on the PMI® website (pmi.org).
Among the conditions required to take the certification exam is the completion of a course of at least 35 hours such as the one offered by PMLA.
